Netflix is preparing for the premiere of the new series directed by the filmmaker Baran bo Odar, who was also the one who headed the direction of Dark, one of the most watched series on the platform. It is “1899”, a story that will tell the story of some immigrants who find themselves adrift on a ship and who, along the way, cross paths with another crew.
The new installment of Netflix promises terror and a lot of science fiction, it will be made up of 8 episodes where everything that happens on board the ship that is loaded with European immigrants trying to reach New York will be recounted. However, on the way, the encounter with the other crew will give an unexpected twist to the story.

The cast includes Emily Beecham, Aneurin Barnard, Andreas Pietschmann, Miguel Bernardeau, Maciej Musial, Lucas Lynggaard Tønnesen, Rosalie Craig and Clara Rosager, among other actors. ‘1899’ is scheduled to premiere on Netflix in late 2022, but the exact date is still unknown.
