The National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (INDEC) released this Tuesday the basic food and total basket for the month of April. According to the report, a family of four needed $95,260 to stay out of poverty. This reflects a 6.2% increase in the total basic food basket compared to March, which was $89,690.

In turn, $42,527 were needed to avoid falling into the indigence line, which represents a variation of 6.7% compared to the month of March. According to INDEC, in the last twelve months the basic basket had a rise of 51.3%.
