A hot water tank exploded and generated considerable damage to a house, the event occurred in the town of General Cabrera, in the center-south of the province of Córdoba. After the explosion, the owner of the house suffered serious injuries and she had to be taken immediately to the area hospital.
The terrible incident caused the ceiling to rest on a mattress a few centimeters from the floor, causing damage throughout the home. Inside the house was a 60-year-old woman who was rescued with multiple injuries, so she had to be transferred to the “Dr.Amaro Eliseo Sastre” municipal hospital where she was stabilized.
Hours later, the woman was transferred to the New San Antonio de Padua Hospital in Río Cuarto, where she is hospitalized with a reserved prognosis.
So far the reasons that caused the explosion are unknown, but specialized personnel are working on the spot to determine the reasons that caused the incident.
