Facundo Leyria, an officer from the Chancaní Department Police Station, saved the life of a 12-day-old baby who suffered from bronchial aspiration when she drank milk.

Last Tuesday, at 2:30 p.m., a 29-year-old woman was in the area clinic with her daughter, who was unconscious and in respiratory distress, the product of a bronchial aspiration condition.

There were no medical personnel in the vicinity of the dispensary, so officer Leyria decided to transfer the minor to the Villa Dolor Hospital located 70 km away. Along the way, the cash performed CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) maneuvers until the minor was stabilized.
