From June 8 to 15, the citizens of Córdoba are invited to visit a circuit of historic bars and cafes in the Center and surroundings. It will be the “Week of Notable Bars and Cafes”, organized by the Municipality of the capital, which will have a powerful range of attractions that includes guided tours and interventions by Mini Contemporary artists from Cordoba.
The event will be held for the first time in our city and its purpose is to recognize, rescue and revalue these spaces in our city that preserve their original characteristics and treasure memories and anecdotes of our affective memory. Unique and special places that are a meeting place, legacy and tradition.
The first notable bars and cafes selected for meeting these characteristics are: La Tasca del paseo, Deán Funes 163; Don Quixote, Av. Gral. Paz 21; The ring, Bishop Trejo 84; Sorocabana, San Jeronimo 125; La Real, Av. Olmos 101; Bon que Bon, Av. Maipú 148; Solar de Tejeda, April 27, 23; Willy Bar, May 25, 193; Monserrat Bar, Bishop Trejo 199; 1928, North Market; Plazoleta Bar, Bv. In addition, the “Ciudad de Córdoba” podcast cycle will premiere a special collection dedicated to these emblematic places that are part of the city’s tangible and intangible heritage. The scripts and narrative texts were written and narrated by the Cordovan journalist Dante Leguizamón, and arise from a work made from quotes and fragments of texts by Daniel Salzano. In several cases actions have been fictionalized in which Salzano is a fictional character. This new edition can now be heard on Spotify’s “Ciudad de Córdoba” account.
