In a press conference at the Argentine Embassy in Paris, Alberto Fernández announced that there will be a bonus for formal workers in the public and private sectors with low salaries. At the moment, the amount to be granted or the salary cap is not confirmed.

In this context, the President ruled out applying a fixed sum, thus rejecting Cristina Fernández de Kirchner’s request. “In Argentina the paritarias function fully, what must be left is the paritarias to function,” said the head of state.

In turn, he assured that we must “recover everyone’s wages, including the lowest sectors.” For this reason, this new year-end bonus will try to help the most deferred salaries.

Regarding the amount, the President stated: “When we get to Buenos Aires we will see it.”
