An evangelical pastor, named Jorge Sergio Vega, was arrested in the Cordovan neighborhood of Mariano Balcarce in the last few hours as part of an investigation that accuses him of sexual abuse against an 11-year-old girl.
The 59-year-old religious was apprehended after a raid on his home. The order was issued by prosecutor Ingrid Vago and executed by the Crimes Against Sexual Integrity Division of the Córdoba Police.
The church that Vega leads is located in the Villa Unión neighborhood. The complaint for which he was arrested was filed by the girl’s parents, while it also transpired that there are two other complaints that indicate him for the same crime against minors under 15 years of age.
