The Minister of Security, Aníbal Fernández, will participate this Monday in the meeting of specialists in the prevention of terrorism and violent extremism in Latin America established by the Latin American Jewish Congress. The conference will take place from 2:00 p.m. at the Hilton Buenos Aires Hotel located in the Puerto Madero neighborhood.
The meeting will feature multiple specialists from different countries, including the executive director of the Latin American Jewish Congress, Claudio Epelman, who is recognized for being an important actor in interreligious conflict resolution.
From Argentina, the representatives that will take part will be the coordinator of Investigation against Terrorism of the Ministry of Security, Valeria Kowalewsky; the secretary of institutional coordination of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, JJuan Manuel Olima Espel; the national director of Criminal Intelligence, Damian Neustadt; the head of the Federal Police, Juan Carlos Hernandez; the 2nd head of the department of the Anti-terrorist Investigations Unit of the Federal Police, William Alejandro Diaz; the federal judge of Eldorado, Miguel Angel Guerrereither; and the lawyer for the AMIA case, michael bronfman.

On the United States side, the Deputy Executive Secretary of the Inter-American Committee against Terrorism (CICTE OEA), Violanda Botet; and the Senior Fellow of the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies, Emanuel Ottolenghi.
The federal judge will attend from Brazil Friedmann Anderson Wendpap; the Undersecretary of Intelligence and Integration of the Ministry of Justice and Public Security of Minas Gerais, Christian Vienne de Azevedo; the Special Agent of the Federal Police, Flavio Rodriguezand the Brazilian ambassador in ArgentinaJulio Glinternick Bitelli.
