“Argentina, 1985”, the most viewed film during the XXL weekend

The film “Argentina 1985”, directed by Santiago Miter and starring Ricardo Darín as Julio César Strassera and Peter Lanzani in the role of Luis Moreno Ocampo, attracted 267,073 viewers on 317 screens, accounting for 39% of the total sales of the films on the bill, reaching a total of 581,887 tickets sold since its premiere.

The second and third places at the box office were occupied by two horror films: “Smile”, directed by Parker Finn and starring Sosie Bacon, cut 112,207 tickets on 206 screens in its second weekend in theaters and reached a total of 186,259; and “The Orphan: The Origin”, a prequel to “The Orphan” (2009), by William Brent Bell with Isabelle Fuhrman, Julia Stiles and Rossif Sutherland, in its third weekend in theaters it summoned 70,307 in 195 screens, reaching a total of 360,126 cut tickets.

In fourth place is “Tadeo the explorer 3 the curse of the mummy” which, with 216 screens, attracted 45,541 viewers.

From Thursday, October 6 to Monday, October 10, Argentine cinemas sold 681,439 tickets, according to data collected by the consulting firm Ultracine.

The publication “Argentina, 1985”, the most viewed film during the XXL weekend, appeared for the first time on Canal C
