The province of Córdoba is preparing to receive thousands of tourists during the long Carnival weekend, which runs from this Saturday to next Tuesday. They will be the first two holidays of the year and from the hotel and gastronomic sector they define the weekend as the closing of summer 2023.
According to the survey of the Córdoba Tourism Agency, the main tourist valleys register very good percentages of reservations. There are even towns that are already referring tourists to nearby places.
Many mountain towns register confirmations above 90% and some claim to be close to 100% for the days linked to the celebration of Carnival.
In it Punilla Valley, area that has 45% of the places in the entire province, the city of Villa Carlos Paz has 85% reservations, while Villa Giardino and La Falda reach 90% of their reserved places and Cosquín has 100% of Bookings.
For its part, the area of Calamuchita Valley It also shows high levels of reservation: Villa General Belgrano at 86%, Santa Rosa de Calamuchita at 90%, Villa Rumipal at 83%, and Villa Yacanto have reservations over the total number of their places.
In small sawsRio Ceballos has 73% reservations, while in the Traslasierra Valley, its emblematic city, Mina Clavero has 82% of its places reserved and Nono registers 80% reservations and Villa Cura Brochero 70%.
In the zone of paravachasca, the city of Alta Gracia exceeds 85%, La Serranita registers 60% and Potrero de Garay 95%. In the Northeast, the city of Miramar registers reserves for 95% with derivation to neighboring towns.
Córdoba will be a great party this long weekend. Many towns are preparing to celebrate Carnival with invited artists and free admission, as well as a new edition of Cosquín Rock in Santa María de Punilla.
