Of the February 18 to 21, the Cordoba capital is preparing to live one of the great tourist moments of the year. The Municipality will offer a multiplicity of outstanding proposals in terms of guided tours, shows and gastronomy, which will be complemented by traditional neighborhood troupes and massive festivities.
According to data provided by the Municipal Tourist Observatory, hotel establishments already have 66% reservations for the next few days. Also noteworthy are major sporting and cultural events, such as the Córdoba Open, the Cosquín Rock and the Super Rugby Americas Championship.
During January, the occupancy peak in Córdoba was recorded on the third weekend, with an average of 90% in the main tourist destinations but in two days. Now, it will be a few points above and for at least three nights.
Until this Wednesday, in Villa General Belgrano and Santa Rosa de Calamuchita, the reserves climbed to 98% of their capacities, according to their Tourism secretariats. From the private sector they mark the same trend.
In Santa Rosa de Calamuchita there is an event that will add a large number of tourists: the Carnivals of the River, in which Ángela Leiva, Agapornis and Damián Córdoba will participate, as well as comparsas and murgas.
In La Cumbrecita, they pointed out a little more than 90% reserved until this Wednesday, and compared it with the 66% average so far in February and the 84% that they measured in all of January.
According to the Secretary of Tourism of Carlos Paz, the city with the largest accommodation capacity in Córdoba, reservations exceeded 86% this Wednesday, in all modalities. The impression is that with the days it will approach 100%.
