Two months after the completion of the National Population, Household and Housing Census and after multiple complaints, the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (INDEC) reported that between Tuesday, July 19 and Wednesday, July 20, the payment will be credited to the 750 thousand census takers who participated in the operation on May 18 last.

Although initially it had been mentioned that the payment would be made on Monday the 18th, the INDEC officially reported that it received the payment from the Treasury and that the process to be carried out by Banco Nación remained, so the payment date was postponed by one day.

Until now, the non-remunerated sums of the census structure of Catamarca, Chaco, Salta, San Luis and Tucumán had been transferred on June 16.

The promised remunerations are: Fraction Chief $50,000, Assistant Fraction Chief $23,000, Radio Chief $13,000, Urban Censusist $6,000, Rural Censusist category 1 $8,500, Rural Censusist category 2 $12,000, Rural Censusist category 3 $15,000 and Substitute Censusist $1500.
