Córdoba is preparing to live this Tuesday a cultural agenda full of events that can be enjoyed in the different cultural spaces of the city. Movies, music and art shows are some of the available proposals, some are free, and others are relatively low cost.
Below we tell you in detail about each of them:
Cinema Series at the Ferreyra Palace
The Evita Museum – Palacio Ferreyra, presents a new feature film from the universe of Swedish director Roy Andersson that marked his mark. The function will be broadcast in the Auditorium with free admission and will have a capacity of up to 90 people.
This Tuesday 23 premieres “A dove perched on a branch to reflect on existence.”
UNC Symphony Orchestra
The UNC Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Hadrian Avila Arzuza, offers its third concert of the 2022 season: “Docta Sinfónica”. The function will be this Tuesday, August 23 at 8:00 p.m. in the Hall of the Americas of the Argentine Pavilion. Guest director: Laura Cmet.
Admission is free and free, in order of arrival and until the capacity of the Hall is covered.
Pasolini Cycle Year 100
The Hugo del Carril Municipal Film Club and the Istituto Italiano di Cultura Córdoba, 100 years after the birth of Pier Paolo Pasolini, will screen a new feature film by the renowned director.
The function will take place this Tuesday 23 at 6:00 p.m., it is about “Mamma Roma” starring Anna Magnani and Franco Citti. Mamma Roma is a prostitute who dreams of petty-bourgeois well-being. After her protector’s wedding, she moves with her son Héctor de ella to a decent neighborhood, where she runs a fruit stand in the popular market. Héctor is a boy with a weak and impressionable character, who gets carried away by his friends and falls in love with Bruna, a girl who initiates him into the secrets of love.
Exhibit at the Emilio Caraffa Museum
You can visit the exhibitions: “Intersectionalities + Intersections”, award-winning works mentioned in the II International Biennial of Engraving and Printed Art in Small Format; “American Baroque” paintings and intervened mannequins by Luis Niveiro; “Cordovan Artists in the Ñandé MAC Collection” works in multiple media and formats from the Ñandé MAC Collection; “Suspension”, paintings and objects by Matías Factorovich curated by Marcelo Nusenovich; “Modified Nature”, drawings and sculptures by Dora Isdatne; “Vertical studies or the elusive game of perception”, installed painting by Beatriz Sola curated by Dante Montich (photo); and “La Reyna”, contemporary sculpture and jewelry by Yuri Gogol.
The exhibitions can be visited until Sunday, September 4, 2022 from Tuesday to Sunday and holidays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Tickets: under 16 years free; older $250; Combined visit to the three museums (Emilio Caraffa, Palacio Dionisi and Museo Evita Palacio Ferreyra) $450. Family ticket for up to six members $750. Every Wednesday: free admission.
