In October, the Córdoba Consumer Price Index (IPC-Cba) registered an increase in its general level of 6.80% compared to the previous month.

Considering the importance of each chapter at the general level, the monthly variation of the CPI-Cba in the past month is largely explained by:
- Food and Beverages Chapter: due to the increase in the average prices of food and beverages purchased and consumed in restaurants and bars; Made of veggies; and meats and derivatives.
- Property, Fuel, Water and Electricity Chapter: mainly due to the increase in electricity rates and rental prices.
- Transportation and Communications Chapter: due to increases in fuels; fixed telephony; bus ticket; and taxis and remises.
The following table presents the main results corresponding to the chapters that make up the CPI basket.

Goods and services
The estatewhich represent 59% of the basket, had a variation of 5.45% compared to the previous month, while the serviceswhich represent the remaining 41% of the basket, registered a variation of 9.65%.

Seasonal, regulated and other CPI
The general level of the CPI is presented below, broken down into three categories: seasonal goods and services, goods and services whose prices are subject to State regulation or have a high tax content, and the remaining goods and services that make up the market basket. CPI (core or core inflation).
In the month of October 2022, seasonal goods and services registered an increase of 11.65% compared to the previous month. On the other hand, regulated goods and services had a variation of 8.88%, while the rest of the products that make up the CPI basket registered an increase of 5.60%.
