In recent days, the trip to Antarctica by the influencer Nati Jota and the streamer Momo caused a stir on social networks. The young people, known for their wide arrival on different platforms, traveled to the cold continent together with the state news agency Télam.

Criticism was not long in coming, since users assured that this journey was paid for by the taxes of all Argentines. Although the instagramer came out to clarify that she was hired by an audiovisual content producer called “La Ñata”, owner of the journalist Roberto Navarro, it was learned that it was Télam who financed the flights, stays and other expenses.

According to the newspaper “El Disenso”, the agency, which acts as a State Company, carried out a purchasing process with a budget of $152,000,000 by “Digital Communication Services” in order to hire influencers to raise awareness and disseminate institutional messages.
