Tour operators await with “very good expectations” the extra-long weekend for the holidays on Friday June 17 and Monday June 20 as a result of the high levels of hotel reservations and inquiries they received and to which they hope to add “the spontaneous demand” of the local tourism.
In Córdoba, reservations exceed 65%, according to Esteban Avilés, head of the Córdoba Tourism Agency. In fact, hotel reservations for the next long weekend in Villa Carlos Paz averaged 60% in its almost 55,000 hotel beds, with peaks of up to 86% in four-star accommodation.
On the other hand, the president of the Chamber of Tourism of the Province, José González, stated that “the next long weekend is expected with very good expectations”, with consultations that are above 80%.
Córdoba has about 170,000 places at the provincial level for accommodation in different formats (hotels, cabins, houses and apartments), of which about 55,000 are located in Villa Carlos Paz.
