A new meeting of “Maternando” was held, a space for affective and responsible bonding, strengthening the mother and daughter binomial. The protagonists were the beneficiaries of the provincial program “Protection of Pregnant Women and their Baby” and the “Fourth Month Law”.
The event was held in Plaza Cielo Tierra, where a discussion took place on the health of pregnant women, the first days of the newborn and essential care for the pregnant person. The trousseau was also delivered to women who are in their last trimester of pregnancy.
In addition, Cordoba women who are in their fourth month of maternity leave were recognized and advised. It is worth mentioning that, since the sanction of this Law in 2016 to the present, there are more than 23,000 beneficiaries who have been able to exercise their right to care for one more month of leave. During the day, the presence of different informative and recreational stands, HIV tests and vaccination of the Ministry of Health was also highlighted.
Also present were the female entrepreneurs from Cordoba from the Forum of Women Entrepreneurs (FEM), a comprehensive strengthening and support program carried out by the Ministry of Women to promote economic autonomy, professional development and insertion into new markets for women.
