Tour operators confided that they await with “very good expectations” the extra-long weekend for the holidays on Friday, June 17 and Monday, June 20, as a result of the high levels of hotel reservations and inquiries they received and to which they hope to add “spontaneous demand of local tourism.
In Córdoba, with reservations of 55% and consultations above 80%, the president of the Chamber of Tourism of the province, José González, said that they wait with “very good expectations” for the next extra-long weekend.
“Based on the reservations already confirmed and the increasing inquiries, we believe that we are going to have an excellent tourist movement in Córdoba,” he said, noting that although “pre-pandemic levels” of the coronavirus have not yet been recovered, “the results are favourable.”
