For the first time Córdoba will host the “National Congress of Citizen Participation and Decentralization”, the event is organized by the Municipality of Córdoba, through the Secretariat of Citizen Participation. It will take place on Tuesday, July 5 and Wednesday, July 6 at the Quórum Córdoba Hotel. In turn, it will be broadcast live through the Cordovan municipality’s YouTube and Facebook channels.
The main objective of the Congress is to discuss how to consolidate local, participatory and decentralized governments to move towards more effective public policies, for the benefit of the societies that inhabit these cities.
During these two days you will be able to visit four dialogue panels and workshops, beginning the activities on Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., while on Wednesday 6 they will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The conference will be attended by university academics, officials, neighborhood centers and civil associations.
The first panel will be on Local Government Management Experiences in the Province of Córdoba; the second panel, on the perspectives of the Universities; and the third panel, on Civil Society Management Experiences. The second day will begin with the fourth panel on Management Experiences of local governments in the country.
The event will feature the participation of renowned academic fields such as: the National University of Córdoba (UNC), the Catholic University of Córdoba-ICDA, the National University of Villa María (UNVM), the 21st Century University, the Blas Pascal University, and the National Technological University. of Cordoba (UTN).
