In a few days La Falda will dress up to receive exhibitors, pastry chefs and more than 70 representatives from almost all Argentine provinces in a new edition of the traditional National Festival of Alfajor and Regional Products.
Maintaining the typical fair format, the city’s main avenue will be the concentration point for stalls with delicacies to taste at the 24th edition of the sweetest party in the country.
Coinciding with the extra long weekend in October, the visit of some 30,000 tourists eager to get cloying with artisanal products is expected in these 4 days that will also have many activities to take advantage of.
The inauguration of the National Festival will begin with the traditional “cutting of the giant alfajor”, on Friday, October 7, starting at 1:00 p.m.
There will be prominent figures, such as the actress Iliana Calabró, Mirta Carabajal (cook in “La Peña del Morfi”) and Chantal Abad, who will offer a live pastry master.
Also present will be the comedian Camilo from Córdoba, the musicians of Cuatro al Hilo, Jolgorio and the local talent of Ignacio Rouke (participant of La Voz Argentina), Alma y Tierra, NTK, Banda OK, Ta Weno, among other outstanding artists.
