The Universidad Libre del Ambiente begins February with numerous proposals, among which the “Native Seed Collection Walk”, the “Twilight Walk” and the “Urban Bike Ride” stand out. The first walk will take place on Tuesday the 14th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the San Martín Reserve. Within the framework of Valentine’s Day, those who participate will be able to learn about the human species and how it is related in cooperation with other natives of the native forest.

The second walk will be on Wednesday 15 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the same place, where those who attend this recreational activity will be able to learn more about the native flora, its fruits and its seeds. They are in charge of Mgtr. Virginia Martinez Luque. Both are free with prior registration and capacity for up to 100 people.

The bike ride, meanwhile, will be on Saturday 25 from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the ULA (Av. Del Piamonte s/n). It is a short tour that will visit the Chateau Park, the Hormaeche Mill in the Reserve and the Lillo trail. It is free, you have to bring a bicycle and a bottle of water. Registrations are already enabled.

Other ULA proposals:

*Fabriclaje Workshops (Saturday 11 at 10:00) and La Peperina (Saturday 18 at 10:00), both free at the ULA, with prior registration.

*Native School Nursery (Monday 13 at 6:00 p.m.) will be the only one paid. With a quota of 25 people and prior registration, it will be dictated by the Zoom platform. Certification is delivered.

*Sustainable Communities will have three editions this month in the neighborhoods: Patricios Neighborhood Center (Monday 13), Club Yofre (Friday 17), Comedor Mi Solsito (Monday 27). All free at 6:00 p.m. without registration.

*Webinar “The dystopian discourse in the exploitation of nature” will be dictated by Dr. Darío Gómez Pucheta on Thursday 23 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on YouTube. It is free with prior registration.

*Webinar “The importance of wetlands (with emphasis on Latin America)” will be on Friday the 10th from 11 a.m. With the same modality, it will be in charge of Prof. Luis Bermúdez Villapol.
