The activity agenda of the Córdoba Cultura Agency proposes different events to enjoy local artists. Every week a rich program is presented that can also be consulted at cultura.cba.gov.ar.
This week the following events are highlighted:
On Monday the 7th at 7:30 p.m., in the Paseo del Buen Pastor, the exhibition La Vida Toda will be inaugurated with free admission. The exhibition is a retrospective of the work of the artist Marcelo Hepp where part of his workshop located in the Colinas de Vélez Sársfield neighborhood is recreated. His “sumptuous-austerity” pieces are discovered without unnecessary decoration, but continuing historical artistic traditions. The sculptor is the one who understands and feels with certainty the scenographic space of the city, a city that in turn contains it.
On Saturday the 12th and Sunday the 13th, the 10th anniversary of the Leonardo Favio Cultural Center in Río Cuarto will be commemorated. On Saturday 12 at 8 pm, the film Sherlock Jr., by Buster Keaton, will be screened at the same cultural center, with live original music by Germán Nager and Diego Clark. Admission will be free and free. On Sunday the 13th at 5:00 p.m. at the headquarters of the Córdoba Audiovisual Center in Río Cuarto, there will be an open talk with the presence of Germán Náger, who will tell about his experience of composing and performing live music for Sherlock Jr., and Jonatan Cretari, a musician and composer from Villa Carlos Paz with vast experience in Cordovan cinematographic works. To close the activity, at 8 pm, Sherlock Jr. will be screened again, with original live music by Germán Nager and Diego Clark. On Sunday the 3rd from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with free admission, the Bigger Fair arrives at the Córdoba Cultural Center, an event aimed at promoting the consumption of large-size clothing, but not only that, it also invites the corporalities that remain to outside the norm to meet in a space to meet, recognize and think. The meeting proposes to build strategies and tools that help combat fatphobia. The main activity of the day is a plus size fair whose purpose is to officiate as a link between the enterprises that are producing a more inclusive size chart and the public that seeks to consume it.
