The invisible mode in WhatsApp It is one of the latest functions that the messaging giant has incorporated into its platform. But not the only one, with it came the communities, the possibility of leaving the groups without notice to the other members and the reactions to the messages with emojis, among others.

With this new mode, users they will be able to hide online status and choose which people can access that information. In the settings we can choose between several options: that everyone can see it, that only my contacts see it, that it be accessible to my contacts except for the users that I choose manually so that they do not see it and finally that nobody has that information.

To activate the invisible mode in WhatsApp You have to follow these steps: Go to the three points in the upper right sector of the app and touch “Settings”. Then you have to choose “Account” and then “Privacy”. We select the item “Time of last time and Online” and configure it the way we want.

In principle, the function to hide the online status in WhatsApp began to be deployed in test versions for Android and at the moment it is available in beta editions 2.2.20.7 and 2.22.20.9. After an experimental phase, the global launch is expected, but there is still no official date announced.
