domestic service workers will have a new increase in soils which will be defined by the National Commission for Work in Private Homes, after the meeting scheduled for next Friday, August 25.

Until today, the minimum wage per month for a person who performs “general tasks” reaches $95,345.50. If we take into account that the minimum vital and mobile wage for July was $105,500, domestic workers are below the value.

From the unions they point to a higher parameter when it comes to taking the discussion to the National Commission. The supposed value is related to the Total Basic Basket, which for a household of 3 members reaches $185,039, and for 4 members, $232,427.

HOW MUCH DID A DOMESTIC WORKER EARNED UNTIL JUNE?

Those workers who receive their monthly payment must receive their salaries in June, at the latest, until July 6 (up to 4 business days of each month following the one worked).
