The National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (INDEC) released this Thursday a report with official data from the Monthly Estimator of Economic Activity (EMAE). According to this organization, economic activity showed a growth of 4.8% in the month of March. In this way, the first quarter showed a rise of 6.1%.

Of the 16 sectors of activity that according to the EMAE, fourteen showed increases in March, highlighting Hotels and restaurants (+33.1%) and Transport and communications (+12.7%). While the Agriculture, Livestock and Hunting sector registered a drop of 5.5% compared to the same month of the previous year

In addition, the year-on-year rise showed a slowdown compared to the 8.5% registered in February. This indicates a drop in economic activity of 0.7% compared to this month.
