From the Provincial Enterprise Empresa Provincial de Energia de Córdoba (Epec) and the different electricity cooperatives, emails were sent reminding users that they must register to conserve the energy subsidy.
The initiative arose at the request of the provincial authorities who did not see with good eyes that many clients lost their subsidies, because they did not register in the list of beneficiaries. In this way, the Entity forms, the regulatory entity of Public Services (Ersep) urged Epec to send mass communications alerting customers to the situation and encouraging the registration of those who had not yet done so.
It is worth mentioning that of the total number of energy users in the province, about half lost all of the national subsidies, which will be gradually withdrawn until the end of the year. This fact continues to be a cause for concern since the increases will be strong and many families will see their domestic economies affected.
