Every June 10 marks the World Day for the fight against ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). In this context, former senator Esteban Bullrich called on Tuesday through his Twitter account to “put aside bureaucracies and promote research” that will improve the quality of life of patients with this disease.

Through a thread, the politician expressed: “Today is a very special day for me and for the more than 3,000 patients who suffer from ALS in our country.” At the same time, he called for the importance of seeking a cure for this disease, since “we have no more time to lose.”

Following these statements, the ANMAT replied that “no laboratory has formally submitted for evaluation the documentation corresponding to the AMX-035 product” and specified that the new drug was authorized by the Canadian health agency “under special conditions for the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis. Amyotrophic Lateral Syndrome (ALS)”.
