The National University of Córdoba, together with the football clubs Belgrano, Huracán, Instituto, Maipú, Racing, Talleres and Villa Siburu, have been supporting “Put the Chest in the Cold” for the last four years, the warm solidarity campaign that began in the midst of a pandemic to “ Give warmth to those who need it most.
As of Monday, May 29 and until June 8, blankets, warm clothing and footwear in good condition are received at the Argentine Pavilion and at the club headquarters. It should be noted that in 2022, 7,810 items of clothing were donated (blankets, jackets, pullovers, scarves, hats, various children’s and adult clothing) and 500 pairs of footwear.
The goal of the clubs and UNC Extension, through its Extension Points Program, is to exceed that number by appealing to the conscience and solidarity of the people to help about 13 social organizations that carry out activities and actions in the areas of influence of the clubs.
Among them: El Polito, Mujeres Activando, La Poderosa, Cooperativa La Victoria, ATTTA and NGO Vaso de leche.
