Grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo announced this Thursday an agenda of cultural activities and campaigns that it will carry out throughout the month in various parts of the City of Buenos Aires and in the Buenos Aires party of Vicente López, within the framework of the celebration of the 45th anniversary of the organization.

“In the month of our 45th anniversary, the Grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo invite everyone to participate in the activities and join the campaigns to make the search visible, which we will develop throughout October,” the organization told through a statement. In this way, Abuelas will hold recitals, exhibitions, theater, talks and film screenings at Tecnópolis, the Kirchner Cultural Center and the Borges Cultural Center, among others.

This Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at Casa por la Identidad -within the Espacio Memoria, in Libertador 8,151- the film “Grandmothers”, directed by Cristian Arriaga, was screened with free admission. Likewise, this Friday, also at 6:00 p.m., a “collective installation” with handkerchiefs intervened “in solidarity” by 29 artists, including Marta Minujín, Daniel Santoro, Miguel Rep, Luis Felipe Noah and Marcelo Brodsky.

After that exhibition, in the same cultural space, the Sacrum musical group will present its repertoire of jazz, swing and groove from the Astor Piazzolla auditorium. Tickets are limited and can be reserved at
