With the motto “Córdoba Capital, everything to enjoy” the Cordoba capital will receive tourists and residents with multiple proposals to enjoy this summer vacation. The General Directorate of Tourism and Promotion, dependent on the Secretary of Government and General Cabinet Management, presents an interesting palette of free guided tours that will invite you to discover the hidden corners and secrets of the city’s heritage.
Below we tell you about each of the proposals:
Look up!: The circuit includes guided tours of the Historic Center, to get excellent panoramic views and experience Córdoba from above. It will include the 11th floor of one of the most traditional hotels in the city. They will leave every Thursday in January and February, at 11 am, from the Cabildo Tourist Information Office (Independencia 30).
Look below!: The visit to the “Underground Córdoba” will continue to add incredible spaces for this (sub)experience. It will include a tour of the cells of the Historical Council, the inspection box for running water, the “Café de la Compañía”, the Paseo de la Córdoba in Nueva Andalucía and the Virreinato Hotel. It will be on Friday the 6th, 20th and 27th of January and Friday the 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th of February, at 10 am, from the Cabildo Tourist Information Office (Independencia 30).

Tribute to Blessed Fray Mamerto Esquiú: The proposal will commemorate the 140th anniversary of the death of the endearing Franciscan bishop of Córdoba Fray Mamerto Esquiú, who was declared blessed. The tour will include exteriors and interiors of the San Francisco Church, the convent of San Jorge and the Cathedral Church. It will take place on Tuesday, January 10, at 10 am, starting from the Cabildo Tourist Information Office (Independencia 30).
“Mysterious Cordoba”: A new opportunity to talk about the legends of ghosts and apparitions trapped in the corners of the city. The tour will include the Historical Cabildo, the former Legislature of the Province and the Genaro Perez Museum of Fine Arts. It will be on Friday the 13th at 6:00 p.m., starting from the Cabildo Tourist Information Office (Independencia 30). Summer Featured Tours
Art Noveau expressions in Córdoba: Through the tour you will be able to recognize the patrimonial wealth of numerous houses that are part of the Argentine Route of Art Noveau. It includes the Entre Ríos street 151 – 161 housing complex, the Victoria hotel, the Genaro Perez Museum and the Central Passage. The visits will be on Saturdays 7, 14, 21 and 28 January at 10 am and will depart from the Cabildo Tourist Information Office (Independencia 30).
Green Cordoba: This walk will invite you to reflect on the citizen’s duty to become agents of change to achieve a healthier planet. The tour will begin in Plaza San Martín, continuing through the Superblock of the Historic Center, La Cañada, Ecopunto Plaza de la Intendencia and the Superblock of the Civic Center. It will be on Saturdays 7, 14, 21 and 28 at 6:00 p.m., leaving from the Cabildo Tourist Information Office (Independencia 30).
The inclusive Doctah: A path through social and cultural advances in Cordoba education. The walk will invite you to rethink comprehensive education with values of equality, justice and solidarity. The tour will include the Founder’s Square, the San Alberto Religious Art Museum, the Natural Chapel, the Historical Museum of the University and the Monserrat National College. It will take place on Saturdays, February 7, 11, 18 and 25, at 10 am, starting from the Cabildo Tourist Information Office (Independencia 30).
“The Cordobazo: Footprints, traces and scars”: From a recreational perspective, the activity will address a theme that identifies the history of the city of Córdoba and its importance in national history. It will cover the Patio Olmos, San Juan boulevard, the emblematic Cañada, General Paz y Colón avenue and the Museum of Women. The tour will take place on Saturdays, February 4, 11, 18 and 25, at 10 am and will begin at the Güemes Tourist Information Office (Diagonal Garzón 400).
