The Córdoba Police arrested a man accused of assaulting his mother in a house in the Villa Páez neighborhood in the city of Córdoba at dawn this Friday. The episode was recorded at 2:43, at an address located at 1,112 Coronel Pedro Zanni Street.
José Luis Merlo, 41, for reasons that are being established, sprayed his mother with ethyl alcohol and threatened to set her on fire. Neighbors, alerted by the screams, called the Police, whose troops arrived at the scene and arrested the aggressor.
The woman, identified as María Cristina Galeano, 67, for her part, was transferred unharmed to the Polo de la Mujer.
