During the month of December 2022, the Córdoba Consumer Price Index (IPC-Cba) registered an increase in its General Level of 5.14% compared to the previous month.
Considering the importance of each chapter at the general level, the monthly variation of the CPI-Cba in the month of December is largely explained by:
- Chapter Food and Beverages; explained by the increase in the average prices of food and beverages purchased and consumed in restaurants/bars; and meats and derivatives.
- Transportation and Communications Chapter; mainly due to increases in the price of fuel and in taxi fares and remises.
- Chapter Property, Fuel, Water and Electricity; due to the increase in the price of bottled gas and housing rents.
