The Cordovan pocket will suffer a new increase, this time, Compressed Natural Gas. CNG will have a new increase that will be between 15.5% and 17% more expensive. Pedro González, vice president of the Chamber of CNG Vendors, indicated that the increase will be, for stationers, between 6 and 7 pesos per cubic meter.

This new rise corresponds to the quarterly update that determines the contract signed by the service stations with the gas marketers, so the next CNG increase will be in August. Currently, in Córdoba, the cubic meter is sold to motorists between 60 and 70 pesos.

The price of CNG lags behind the increase in super gasoline. “The last two increases in liquid fuels have an influence,” González said about the change in prices since May.
