The national government announced this Thursday that new increases were authorized for pay television, telephone and internet services. In principle, the increases will be made in stages and companies may apply an increase of up to 17.6% in retail prices.
Resolution 2393/2022, published in the Official Gazette, informs that the increase will be up to 9.8% from February 1 and up to 7.8% from April 1. Besides. The increases also apply to the Licensees of Internet Access Value Added Services (SVA-I), of Fixed Telephony Services (STF), of Broadcasting Services by Subscription through physical or radioelectric link (SRSVFR) and the Licensees of Services of Audiovisual Communication of Broadcasting by Subscription through satellite link (DTH).
