For the first time in his life, a victim of heart problems, Daniel Blake, a 59-year-old English carpenter, is forced to go to social assistance. However, despite the fact that the doctor has forbidden him to work, the administration forces him to look for a job if he does not want to receive a sanction. At the employment office, Daniel crosses paths with Katie, a single mother with two children. Prisoners of the current administrative tangle of Great Britain, Daniel and Katie will try to help each other.

Brote Teatro presents “De mis platforms”: a love story that is forced to separate. One of them wants to grow up and go to the big city, and the other part wants to stay in their town, which is no longer the same without the train passing through its tracks. Three actors on stage combine the real and current with the past.

-Saturday, July 9: The one who gave birth to him
The group Audacia presents “La que lo parió”, a work that shows the internal relations of a family of drug traffickers. It intertwines the psychic network that weaves the verticality of power, from the most intimate and familiar, to the social and political.
The work challenges us while presenting the general idea of what happened before, during and after the disappearance of Esteban, a drug trafficker, patron, founder of schools, hospitals and entire neighborhoods.
