The Ministry of Education keeps registrations for the Progresar Scholarships open, a program that is settled through the National Social Security Administration (ANSES). Those interested will have until Friday March 31 to complete the application form. The amount amounts to $9,000 and includes a $1,000 Connectivity bonus that will be settled according to the termination of the DNI.

During 2022, the program -which has 1,700,000 scholarship holders- reached its highest level of annual investment with $120,000,000,000. For this year, a projected investment of $138,000,000,000 is anticipated. It should be remembered that since December 2021 the scholarships have been extended to young people aged 16 and 17 so that they can resume and finish their studies.

What types of Progress Scholarships are there?

The Progresar Scholarship has five lines for different groups:

  • Progress 16 and 17 years;
  • Progress Required;
  • Progress Higher;
  • Progress Nursing,
  • Progress Work (in this case, registration will be open all year).

The amount per month represents 80% of the credit. Meanwhile, the remaining 20% ​​is settled upon proving the status of regular student.

How to enroll in the Progresar Scholarships?

They must enter argentina.gob.ar/progresar or through the Progresar app and select the level in which they want to register. Then they will be redirected to the platform of the Ministry of Education to register and follow the steps required by that body.

Those who decide to register in person must previously request an appointment and attend the day assigned to the UDAI with the following documentation: National Identity Document. Form PS.2.87 – Version 1.5 PROGRESAR – Registration Form – ANNEX I, duly completed and endorsed by the school authority.

Progress Scholarship Requirements

Be between 18 and 24 years of age.
It extends up to 35 years of age to people with children under 18 years of age belonging to single-parent households and up to 40 years of age for people who do not have registered formal work.
No age limit for trans people, indigenous peoples, people with disabilities or refugees.
The sum of the youth’s income must not exceed three (3) Minimum, Vital and Mobile Salaries (SMVM).

Progress Required
Being Argentine/or native/or; naturalized or foreigner, with legal residence of two (2) years in the country and have ID.
Be a regular student of an educational institution.
Be between 16 and 24 years of age.
It extends up to 35 years of age to people with children under 18 years of age belonging to single-parent households.
No age limit for trans people, indigenous peoples, people with disabilities or refugees.
The income of the young person and their family group must not exceed three (3) Minimum, Vital and Mobile Salaries (SMVM).

Progress 16 and 17 years
Be a student / or regular.
Your income and that of your family group must not exceed 3 Minimum, Vital and Mobile Salaries.
Being Argentine/or native/or; naturalized or foreigner, with legal residence of 2 years in the country and have ID.

Be native or naturalized Argentines or foreigners, with legal residence of five (5) years in the country and DNI.
Be over 17 years of age at the closing of the respective call, without age limit.
The income of the young person and their family group must not exceed three (3) Minimum, Vital and Mobile Salaries (SMVM).
Be a graduate of the middle level and not owe any subjects at the time of registration.
Study or enter to study at Higher Technical Education Institutes of State Management. Exceptionally, the Higher Technical Education Institutes of Private Management registered in PRONAFE.

Progress Higher Level
Being Argentine/or native/or; naturalized or foreigner, with legal residence of five (5) years in the country and have ID.
Be a regular student of an educational institution.
Be between 17 and 24 years of age.
Advanced students in the career, up to thirty (30) years of age.
Nursing students without age limit.
It extends up to 35 years of age to people with dependent children under 18 years of age belonging to single-parent households.
No age limit for trans, indigenous peoples, people with disabilities, refugees or Afro-descendants/Afro-Argentines.
The income of the young person and their family group must not exceed three (3) Minimum, Vital and Mobile Salaries (SMVM).
