The president of Brazil Luiz Inácio Lula Da Silva arrived last night in Argentina on his country’s presidential plane, which landed at the Military Air Station of the Ezeiza International Airport.

Lula, dressed in a blue suit and accompanied by his wife, Rosangela “Janja”, was received shortly after 9 pm by the Argentine Foreign Minister, Santiago Cafiero, and the fanfare of the Horse Grenadier Regiment.

The president of Brazil will meet this Monday with his Argentine counterpart, Alberto Fernández, to sign a series of agreements on different topics. On Tuesday the 24th he will participate in the Summit of Heads of State of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC).

This Monday from 10:30 a.m. he will offer the traditional Floral Offering to the Liberator General San Martín, in the Plaza of the same name, and then move to the Government House where he will hold a meeting with President Fernández.
