As part of the actions carried out by the Executive Board of the Central Region, the deputy governor, Manuel Calvo, received this Thursday at the Legislature the Minister of Government, Justice and Human Rights of Santa Fe, Celia Arena, to the Government and Justice of Entre Ríos, Rosario Romero, the Justice and Human Rights of Córdoba, Julián López and the Secretary of Regional Integration of Córdoba, Jorge Montoya, among other officials.

The meeting at the headquarters of the Unicameral took place after a work meeting at the Civic Center, which among its main topics delved into issues related to drug trafficking, popular juries and the accusatory system.

The day began with a welcome greeting from the head of the Regional Integration Secretariat, Jorge Montoya, who valued the possibility of resuming face-to-face activities after the pandemic and highlighted the initiative of the Executive Board to carry out a series of meetings for the treatment of specific issues that are in the interest of the three provinces that make up the Central Region.

While the Minister of Justice and Human Rights of the Julián López Province, in charge of presiding over the meeting, began the treatment of the agreed topics and presentation of the team of speakers in each of the subjects. He also highlighted the importance of exchanging experiences and projects with the Minister of Government, Justice and Human Rights of Santa Fe, Celia Arena, and her counterpart from Government and Justice of Entre Ríos, Rosario Romero, present at today’s meeting, “in the I hope it will be meaningful and valuable for everyone”, he affirmed.

The work day of the Executive Board of the Central Region was accompanied by the Secretary of Justice of the province of Córdoba, Laura Echenique; her colleague from Entre Ríos, Adriana Pérez Galarraga and the Secretary of Justice of Santa Fe, Gabriel Somaglia. Also participating were the Secretary of Federal Management of Santa Fe, Candelaria González del Pino; the president of the Entity of the Central Region, Claudio Ava Aispuru and the Coordinator of the Entity of the Central Region, Juan Francisco Coniglio.
