Massa named his first officials: Who are they?
Sergio Massa placed first in the Ministry of Economy, Agriculture and Production of the Nation. On his first day as superminister he announced who would form his work team. The official made the announcement via Twitter, where he has been active since his appointment.
Among its officials will be Raúl Rigo, who resigned as secretary of the Treasury when Martín Guzmán slammed the door on July 2. He now returns to that position. He had been replaced by Karina Angeletti during the short term of Silvina Batakis.
“He will be accompanied by Jorge Domper as Budget Undersecretary and Claudia Balestrini in charge of the Public Revenue Undersecretary,” added Massa. And he emphatically clarified that “the objective is to order and take care of public accounts,” Massa said on his social network.
Domper will leave the General State Treasury, the body in charge of programming and managing the large financial flows of the State. While Balestrini returns to that position to which she had been appointed in 2016.
