Michael Bublé participated in the podcast That Gaby Roslin and talked about her personal life in balance with her music career. In the interview, the musician married to Luisana Lopilato stated that he would be more successful if he did not have a wife and children.
“If you talk to my manager, a beautiful guy who managed many important careers, he would tell me that if Bublé had not married and had children, he would be a bigger star,” the musician began.
The singer agreed with the words of his representative and pointed out that: “you cannot do both successfully”. In addition, he added that “it is possible to do both relatively well and be successful, but always one of those sides suffers.”
To exemplify his sayings, he revealed that many times he chose to stay with his family instead of scheduling tours. “Since I came to the UK to do promotion, I had to make a decision where I would spend my time, and that probably wasn’t good for the chart numbers in Italy, Holland could have been better, that’s what I mean.” he explained.
“My manager always tells me, ‘It’s not hard to make decisions, it’s hard to live with the consequences of those decisions, so can you live with the consequences of that, Mike? If you put your family first it will hurt our career in those countries, what do you think?’ And, of course, for me it has been difficult”, confessed Bublé.
So far, Luisana Lopilato has made no statement about her husband’s comments. Bublé and the Argentine actress are the parents of four children: Noah (9), Elias (6), Vida (4) and the newborn Cielo.
