The museums of Córdoba are preparing to receive visitors of all ages during the winter holidays, offering regular tours and special activities for the enjoyment of visitors. Some of the museums and their proposals are detailed below:

Square Heaven Earth: Located at Chacabuco 1300, it opens its doors from Tuesday to Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Prior registration is required through its website to participate. The tour includes an astronomical function in the Planetarium, a tour of the outdoor park, a 360-degree astronomical function with virtual reality glasses and a space exhibition at the end of the tour.

Zoology Museum: Located at Avda. Vélez Sarsfield 249 – 2nd Floor, Córdoba Capital. Open Monday and Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Wednesday and Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. On Friday, July 14, there will be an observation and drawing workshop for young people and adults, with limited spaces.

UNC Historical Museum: It is located at Obispo Trejo 242. During the month of July, guided tours for families and children will be offered from Monday to Friday at 11:30 a.m. It is recommended to announce the participation 10 minutes before the start. The duration of the activity is approximately one hour and the price is $600 per family group. There are exceptions in payment for certain groups.

Córdoba Astronomical Observatory (Headquarters): Located at Laprida 854, it can be visited on Fridays and Saturdays from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. A guided tour of the museum and observations through the Equatorial telescope will be offered, subject to weather conditions. In addition, on July 28 there will be a scientific conference open to the public on the origin of life.

Córdoba Astronomical Observatory (Bosque Alegre Astrophysical Station): Daytime visits are made from Monday to Sunday at three times, without the need for prior registration. Evening tours take place on Fridays and Saturdays and require email registration. A talk on the history of the station and a tour of the main dome are offered, followed by astronomical observations if the weather permits.

Interactive Science Museum (MCI) of the Faculty of Chemical Sciences (FCQ) of the National University of Córdoba (UNC): Located at Av. Medina Allende 1998, on July 21 and 22, free educational activities for people of all ages will be held at more than 20 thematic stands.

Museum of Health Sciences: On Friday, July 14, there will be a mediated visit to the San Jerónimo cemetery, entitled “Written Culture, Bibliophiles and Libraries.” During the guided tour, you will visit mausoleums and pantheons of personalities who supported the growth of Cordoba libraries. Registrations can be done online.

Museum of Anthropologies: Located at Av. Hipólito Yrigoyen 174, it will present a series of proposals and workshops from Monday to Friday from 4:00 p.m., from July 10 to 21. Activities include collage workshops, pinwheel creation, theater tours, and more.

Provincial Museum of Natural Sciences: Open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Free admission is allowed, although it is not allowed to bring animals, food, drinks or plants. The museum has wheelchairs available to the public.

Kite, Children’s Museum: Located at Av. Rio de Janeiro 1725, VAS Shopping in Villa Allende. Open from Thursday to Sunday from 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. It offers various activities and workshops for the little ones. The payment of an entrance is required for minors and adults.

In addition to museums, in 220 Contemporary Culture (Int. Ramón Bautista Mestre 1150), the sample will be exhibited “The thing is born from the thing, a journey around the work of Bruno Munari”. The exhibition will be open on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 4:00 p.m.With free entry.
