One in four children and adolescents suffers Grooming: How to avoid it?
November 13 was National Anti-Grooming Day. In this framework, the Grooming Argentina Foundation carried out a study to find out the rates of this problem in our country. It should be noted that Grooming is contact, via the internet, between an adult and a child or adolescent for the purpose of violating their sexual integrity.
Martín Altamirano, General Coordinator of the NGO, specified that they carried out 5,500 surveys and stated: “The metrics are alarming. One in four guys was contacted with requests for nude photos and videos. 70% were hired by unknown people and what is worrying is that there is 30% who were contacted by acquaintances.”
