This Wednesday the government of Córdoba reported the figures for poverty and indigence during the second half of 2022. The operation “Monitoring of Living Conditions – MCV”in charge of the General Directorate of Statistics and Censusesindicated that poverty reached 640 thousand people while indigence reached 111,000 people.
The poverty figure of 37.9% marked a drop of 0.3 percentage points compared to the second semester of 2021 and an increase of 0.8% compared to the first semester of 2022.
While the record of indigence of 6.6% represented a decrease of 0.4 percentage points compared to the second semester of 2022 and an increase of 1.8% compared to the first semester of 2022.
