After the completion of nine days of arguments, prosecutors Diego Luciani and Sergio Mola requested 12 years in prison for Cristina Fernández de Kirchner in the Vialidad case. CFK is accused of being the head of an illicit association that during his government and that of Néstor Kirchner (between 2003 and 2015) he would have directed millionaire contracts for public works in Santa Cruz in favor of Lázaro Báez.

Prosecutor Luciani maintained that the “greatest corruption maneuver known in the history of the country” is being judged with damage to the national State amounting to 5,231 million pesos. In addition to the sentence, the prosecution requested the perpetual disqualification from holding public office for the Vice President of the Nation.

It should be clarified that CFK was absent today but used his Twitter account to denounce the lack of evidence against him, as well as asking to expand his statement.
