After the Justice sentenced Cristina Fernández de Kirchner to 6 years in prison for fraudulent administration and gave her perpetual disqualification from holding public office, prosecutors will appeal the sentence to seek a greater sentence.

Diego Luciani and Sergio Mola had requested 12 years in prison for the vice president in their allegations, in addition to assuring that the former head of state belonged to an illegal association, in which she was acquitted.

To appeal, they must first wait the fundamentals that will be announced on March 9. From there they will have ten days, although it may be extended and there they can file an appeal before the Federal Chamber of Criminal Cassation.

It should be noted that they will also appeal to Criminal Cassation due to the acquittal of Julio De Vido, former Minister of Public Works, considering him innocent.
