Record Blue Dollar: $270 buy and $280 sell
Silvina Batakis will assume as Minister of Economy this afternoon, after the surprise departure of Martín Guzmán on Saturday. On Sunday Alberto Fernández had to define who would occupy him. However, to do so, he needed to communicate by phone with his vice president, Critina Kirchner, who did not endorse the other names proposed by the president.
Due to changes in the cabinet, this Monday there was a sharp jump in the blue dollar. In the informal market, the currency opened at 280 pesos. The difference compared to Friday is 31 pesos. According to Banco Nación, the official increased 50 cents and now reaches 130.75.
