Amazing views, the purest air of the mountains, and challenging walks, walking the Cordoba trails are a unique opportunity to enjoy the best of the province. The Cordoba mountains with their ascents and descents, valleys and rivers, ravines and lakes, offer the 3333possibility of doing multiple outdoor activities including ‘hiking’, a sports and tourist activity that is practiced in natural surroundings.
We tell you about four hiking options to do in the province:
1.La Granja – Tiú Mayú Reserve
Path that runs through the Tiú Mayú urban reserve, always next to the river, in the direction of La Toma spa. It was recovered after the flood in 2015. Shaded throughout the journey, it is a special activity to do as a family.
Distance: 3.93 kilometers. Type of terrain: Dirt and sand paths, without loose stones. Panoramic points: The entire route runs through forests, next to the river. Upon arrival at the spa we found the panoramic points to take photos.

2.La Cumbrecita – Paseo Alto
This route leads to the Indio and Peñal viewpoints. It begins by taking the path to the Cascada Grande to the left along a narrow path with steps carved in stone and after about 20 minutes, the first viewpoint is accessed. Then, the path continues crossing a slope and descends along the street that leads to the Peñal viewpoint. To the south, you can see a beautiful panoramic view of the town and the Cristal hill with its 1463 meters above sea level.
3.Unquillo – Los Chorrillos Waterfall
It is an interpretive trail to be carried out with prior reservation located on the banks of the Cabana stream. Flora and fauna typical of the region can be observed on the route, and in which in each season of the year it marks its charm. Distance: 4 km (1.7 km interpretive path).
4.Villa Dolores – Intihuaca
The route borders the south bank of the Los Sauces river as it passes through Villa Dolores, before getting lost in the marshes to the west of the city. It is the longest river in the Traslasierra valley, and from the center of the city, heading north, the layout allows you to take a self-guided tour or, on specific dates, special tours organized by the Tourist Office with guides and service providers. enabled.
