This Tuesday, July 5, the official launch of the 38th National Tango Festival will take place, in an edition that prepares almost a month of activities related to this traditional Argentine dance.

Starting on Friday the 8th, there will be concerts in bars and restaurants with the “tango café” modality, tango musicals in theater format, exhibitions and projections, seminars and workshops, and milonga nights. For example, on the aforementioned date “La Falcón” can be seen at the Edén Theater, with tickets at $1,000. On Saturday the 9th there will be “Noche de Milonga” also at the Edén Theater. Advance tickets are available 2 for $500 at the Ministry of Tourism (Av Edén 93) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

But the main course will be on the 22nd and 23rd at the Carlos Gardel Amphitheater. The first day Raúl Lavié, Rodolfo Tulián, the municipal school orchestra of Tango de La Falda, some new figures that join, María José Demare, Franco Luciani and José Colángelo, among others, will perform. While on Saturday July 23, will perform on stage Marcelo Santos from Cordoba, local artists, Inés Cuello and the Quintet La Grela, Tango Loco, Sexteto Mayor and the enormous honor of Piro’s performance with Susana Rinaldi. The conductors of the gala nights this year will be: Silvio Soldán and Carmen Barbieri.
