In a video released by the Archdiocese of Córdoba, the Catholic Church calls on the general public to demonstrate for the slogans “Enough of drugs! Enough of violence!” and “in favor of the weakest and those who work for them.”

The protest will be this Monday, March 27 at 7:00 p.m. in front of the esplanade of the Cathedral of Córdoba (Plaza San Martín). It comes after a series of violent events in the city and the province, but also after a mafia attack against Father Mariano Oberlin, who is dedicated to the recovery of people who are in a situation of drug and substance abuse.

“We Cordovans say enough of drugs and violence” says the video. It doesn’t matter what religion or political party you are, we are going to come together to ask all together for this slogan. Bring an Argentine flag and we will unite together on the esplanade of the Cathedral”ask their protagonists.
