The representatives discussed the worrying situation of contamination in the dam and the need to take urgent measures to protect the environment and the health of the population. The importance of working together between the different cities and political sectors to address this problem was highlighted.
The meeting addressed issues such as the lack of control and sanctions against companies that pollute and the need to implement public policies that promote care for the environment and promote sustainable development. They ended the meeting under the commitment to continue working together to find solutions to the problem of pollution throughout the province of Cordova.
